Turmeric comes from the root of the plant, Curcuma Longa, which is in the ginger family. Curcumin is the bioactive component of turmeric, meaning it is the part of the root that possess the powerful anti-inflammatory components. This powder contains USDA organic whole turmeric powder and curcumin powder, so you get the most anti-inflammatory benefit possible.
How We Use It:
Mix 1 teaspoon with 8 oz. of warm water (under 118 degrees F) and mix thoroughly. Or mix 1 tablespoon into a smoothie, oatmeal, etc. Use after a hard training session to help reduce inflammation and boost recovery. Be careful to not use hot or boiling water, as this will destroy the beneficial components of the turmeric!
