Skratch Labs Hyper Hydration was created with extreme conditions in mind. This mix contains significantly more sodium than your average sports drink and should NOT be used for everyday exercise or simple hydration. The high sodium content increases your body’s ability to take up water, hence the name “Hyper Hydrate”.  However, this type of extreme hydration is only necessary if you are at risk of losing a significant amount of body weight in sweat (more than 5-7%) in a single bout of exercise.
A couple of questions to ask yourself before trying this product include:
·      Am I a salty sweater? (You often find crusted salt on your skin/clothes, your sweat burns your eyes or has an extremely salty taste)
·      Will I be exercising at an intense level for more than 2-4 hours?
·      Do I tend to struggle with cramping,  severe dehydration, or low blood pressure during intense exercise?

How We Use It

Again, this product is ONLY intended for use in the most extreme and challenging conditions. Examples of times to use this product could include: completing a marathon or Ironman in hot, humid conditions, or for an intense competition in extremely hot conditions lasting longer than an hour during which you could lose more than 5-7% of body weight from dehydration. Mix one serving in 16 oz. of water 30-60 minutes prior to the event start.
